An Idealist with Realist tendencies, all the while a Romanticist at heart.

Writer (a person who composes prose and/or poetry by writing) – I have found writing is a good way to actually do something tangible with my imaginative ideas. In 2007, I wrote a screenplay called Fire Lake, which was inspired by the Bob Seger song of the same name. I was never able to actually make it into a film, but haven't yet discounted the idea. Regardless, I am still proud of the creativity and effort I put into writing it. Also, I really like the story, and especially love the ending. Later in 2011, when I suddenly wrote two poems—having no interest in writing, or even reading, poetry previously—others were surprised in that I would even consider writing a poem. However, after the initial shock subsided, I received many wonderful compliments about my poems, which is very encouraging. Currently, I am writing a suspenseful mystery story, titled: Happiness Executed. Also, I am working on a short story series, titled: Odd Occurrences. The first story in the series will be The Miscreant, which is a dream-inspired, suspense story about a young girl.

Web Developer (a person responsible for how a website functions) – I created my first personal website in 1998, after my class was tasked with creating a simple, single-page site. I have been interested in website development ever since. In 2009, I decided to pursue a career as a web developer and started a website design and development business, known as Webysaurus.

Mathematician (an expert, specialist, or student of mathematics) – I have always enjoyed mathematics and have a talent for it. In college, I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree. I have also taught Calculus and Calculus/Trigonometry classes at a private high school.

Aries (the first sign of the zodiac: March 21-April 19, signified by the Ram) – Being born on April 10th, I have a sun sign of Aries. In astrology, the sun sign describes a person's basic nature and the personality traits that remain constant throughout one's life. As an Aries, I am pioneering, courageous, competitive, independent, ambitious, impulsive, daring, and occasionally combative—as Aries is ruled by Mars, the God of War. As a ram, my likes include coming in first, leading, straightforwardness, and overcoming challenges. The sun sign is only a piece of one's astrological composition. For more information, see the astrology section below.

Movies – I have been a movie fan for as long as I can remember. However, I don't think I knew how great movies could actually be, until I joined Netflix in 2006 and was able to watch movies from around the world. The movie stores in my area mainly carried big-budget, Hollywood movies. So I was not exposed to many Classics, and almost no Foreign films, which are now my two favorite types of films to watch. Even so, I find there's nothing better than an intricate mystery brimming with suspense. Hence, my favorite movie overall is Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window, starring Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly. The rest of my favorite movies can be found here.

Comic Books – I first began reading comic books in the late-summer of 2011. At that time, an almost perfect storm was brewing, which led me to the world of comics. My first comic book was issue #1 of the Dollhouse: Epitaphs mini-series released by Dark Horse Comics. I was a big fan of the Dollhouse television show and heartbroken, though not surprised, when the show was canceled. So I was more than happy to give the comic book a try—anything to keep the Dollhouse story alive. Also at the time, DC's "New 52" was generating a tremendous amount of buzz. So, being a fan of Batman movies, I knew I would try a few of those titles in September 2011. However, I wasn't truly an avid comic book fan until mid-September 2011, when I purchased the deluxe hardcover (which contained all 24 issues) of the Luna Brothers' series, Girls. I realized comics can have better stories than those found in movies and television. Additionally, I realized comics were far from being limited to just superhero stories. To this day, I regularly read comics and am grateful to have discovered the medium. Overall, my favorite comic book series is Locke & Key, written by Joe Hill with art by Gabriel Rodriguez. My other favorites can be found here. Furthermore, I will pre-order any and all future projects written by the Luna Brothers, Greg Rucka, and Nathan Edmondson.

Astrology – Coming Soon.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the symbol () on your favorite movies, comic books, and television series pages?
A: The symbol marks the newest addition to the given favorite section. For example, Double Indemnity is the newest addition to my favorite movies. As for the symbol itself, it is the Dharma Wheel, which I chose because of my fondness for the television show, Lost.
